Letter from the Chief

Greetings, my name is Jerry F. Griffin. I am a father of two adult daughters and a grandfather of three wonderful grandchildren. I am a U.S. Army veteran, and a retired 30-year veteran with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. I am a native and a graduate of E. St. Louis Sr. High School, however, for the past 36 years St. Louis has been home. I have a master’s degree in “Criminal Justice Administration” from my alma mater Lindenwood University.

I am a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and a former Federal Officer for the Department of Defense with the National Geospatial-Intelligent Agency.

As the new Chief of Police here in the City of Country Club Hills I am excited to meet everyone and eager to serve the Board of Aldermen, Mayor, and the people of Country Club Hills.
